The hotel was big size, with nice and welcoming staff and stunning location in the mountains. The room was extremely spacious, featured a lounge and plasma-screen TV. Location: the venue was right by Hostería La Andaluza, a Colonial living museum and the foothills of the Chimborazo Volcano. The service was excellent with parking on the property.

This is one of the overall most wonderful places I have ever been. The hacienda is stunning, dinner and breakfast were both good and my room was just wonderful. La Andaluza it´s really a first class hacienda! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the ambience was attractive, and the price was right!

Beautiful archtecture with stunning entry and dining facilities. Cathy the owner was extremely friendly and very hospitable. Caring and thoughtful staff. Clean rooms with beautiful beds.
Hotel is under new ownership...3 months... and the new owners are doing their best to rebuild what was once an incredible facility. Unfortunately there was no heat in the facility that worked and as we were at +10,000 ft elevation it was unbearably cold. The Internet did not function which caused us to relocate. Food was very expensive and there was nothing to do nor places to visit nearby. Owners were very understanding and allowed us to cancel our second nights reservation with no penalty. This place will be stunning in the future, however, it would be best to wait another year before recommending it as a good place to stay.

The hotel was decorated with beautiful antique objects as well as floral arrangements that added to the overall charm of the place. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms were equipped with everything that a traveler would need. the hotel was situated in a convenient location for travelers looking for a relaxing stay.
The hotel seemed to be more focused on accommodating larger groups, which meant that there were times when individual travelers received less attention and service. the restaurant experience could have been better, with some dishes being served cold or overcooked.

We chose this Hacienda for it´s location, outside the city next to the Urbina Train Station and 12 minutes away the city. The building it´s an antique hacienda with a very interesting history. Upon entering our suite, it was a surprise to find petals, chocolates and a burning fireplace. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated. Reasonable priced with free breakfast and free internet. My favorite part, was to take a walk around the Hacienda and observe the highest mountain in Ecuador just in front of us. Breakfast was beautiful displayed and delicious. All the staff was incredibly friendly and eager to assist to any request. Maria Austa, the receptionist even called and booked for us the Devil´s Nose Train ride.

A destination in itself
I couldn't believe my luck when I stumbled upon this hidden gem in the Andes. The historical building was like stepping back in time, and I couldn't resist exploring every nook and cranny. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable, assisting with travel arrangements and activities. The restaurant served some of the best food I had during my trip. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Despite the occasional noise from animals, the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax. Feeding the baby bunnies in the courtyard was a highlight of my stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel located near the Chimborazo volcano in Ecuador. The hotel facilities were amazing, with a karaoke room and a library. The staff was friendly and attentive from the moment I arrived until my departure. They even provided me with a fruit basket and rose petals on my bed. The breakfast was fantastic, and I loved that they prepared eggs according to my personal preference. The hotel's location near an operating farm and down a small stream was just perfect.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.
